Curatorial Note

Bacterias is a series that explores Afro-Indigenous ancestral memory at its most primal level—before language, before narrative. These paintings imagine how myths, symbols, and spiritual codes were born from biological roots, carried in the body and transmitted through synapse, gesture, and visual form.
