Scientific Latin *bacterium*,

Greek βακτήριον *baktḗrion*.

My artistic practice is grounded in a constant visual exploration, where color, intuition, and cultural references converge to connect the biological with the ancestral.

​

The series “Bacteria – Magnifying Glass of Life” emerged from an introspective process shaped by a period of physical vulnerability and isolation. During that time of retreat, painting became an act of resistance, of healing, and of reconnecting with myself.

​

The works evoke invisible forms of life—organisms that emerge, expand, and transform as metaphors for existence itself. Through fluid and vibrant compositions, this visual universe suggests what cannot be seen but can be felt: the ancestral, the symbolic, the intuitive.

Elements from Indigenous cultures of the Global South, especially from South America and the African continent, are woven into my creative process. These traditional knowledge systems echo through my work as traces of a collective memory that endures, transmits, and transforms.

Bacteria – Magnifying Glass of Life is a journey into the invisible—a gesture of deep observation of that which, though unseen, shapes who we are.
